Nina is a young photographer looking to start her career professionally. The idea behind the logo is to present the name of the photographer and to form a shape that would clearly associate us to photography.
The letters of the name are used to form a silhouette of a camera with a flash attached. The dot on the letter “i” jumps out of the height of the letter “n” and the base of the letter “i”, resembling a shape of a flash on a camera. The remaining two letters of the name “Nina” – “n” and “a” are presented in the yellow colour, as a flash would make a bright light when a picture is taken. The letters “ni” are black as professional cameras are usually black.
The style is minimalistic and retro as the letters are a mid-century heavy type form. That style distinguishes Nina’s work as artistic, modern and hip. The art of photography made by Nina is timeless and nostalgic for times when photography was a skill shaped through an artist’s eye.
