KN ARCHITECTURE & CONSTRUCTION

The KN brand is fresh, feminine, and here to stay!

This is a studio with young, and yet, experienced architects and designers. The project consisted of rebranding and bringing a new perspective to an already successful business. There are strong women standing behind this brand, so the process of the visual identity design wasn’t hard at all as the KN team knew exactly what they wanted.

It was suggested from the very beginning that the letter K should be mirrored. That way it would attract attention by pointing at outside-of-the-box thinking, and it would contribute to the whole idea of stability. Taking these three factors into account, I proposed for the main letters to be bold. I also added another element that pops out and makes the idea unconventional – all small caps. We tried it out and decided to go with something a bit more feminine and sophisticated. So it was time for a bit more sketching.

The final design was first tested without the text as part of the logo design. We also tried using just the text, without the main part of the logo design – the KN letters. That is how we concluded that it is the combination of the two that makes this logotype complete.

It was time to tackle the finishing touches – the visual identity kit, letterhead, and business cards.

And these are the final results of this wonderful cooperation. I am happy to have had the opportunity to be part of this creation!
